I always called her 'Aunty Betty.' As a friend to Meryl and Budgie I was always invited over when Aunty Betty was visiting them. She was always so very kind to me and I loved her approach to life. x

Betty was a wonderful lady, strong willed, called a spade a spade and took no nonsense from anyone, she had a great sense of humour and saw the funny side to most things. A big dog lover, Betty loved her Yorkies Charlie, Poppy and Mo, and later on in life Meg, Skippy, Maddie and Ebby, 3 black labs and a Kelpie who were regular visitors. We have fond memories of the holidays and trips out we shared, Betty will always have a place in our hearts. Much love from Meryl, Budgie Ebby and Maddie.

Although we didn’t know her well, we have known how much she meant to Meryl, Budgie, Suzi and Christopher through listening to the many happy memories they shared over the years.
She was much loved , will be very much missed, but those happy memories will endure.

Betty was one of the strongest willed people I have ever met but also had the biggest heart! Her sense of humour was second to none and I have the best memories of the time I was lucky to spend with Betty over the years, telling me her many funny life stories! Her love of dogs was a trait I admired very much. I was extremely fortunate enough to be able to
spend time with Betty and her family on a Beautiful trip up in Scotland. I quickly fell in love with the family dogs (Ebby & Maddie) both black labs. Not long after that trip I ended up with my own Black Lab ‘Milo’, who was the best thing to ever happen to us and I owe that all to Betty Jones and her inviting me on that particular trip! Betty became a huge part of my life and I really treasure the time I got to spend with such an incredible lady! I could say so much about Betty but I mostly want to say how much we loved her and adored her and what an amazing friend she was! I will never forget her, she will always be in my mind and my heart!!! Lots of Love Betty, from Rachel, Dave, Milo and Freddie xxx
